Blackburn Buccaneer S.Mk.2 Gulf War

This is a new complete master with separate flaps to the main wing trailing edges and tailplane enabling the modeller to display the model in landing/ take off configuration.
The kit consists of 50+ Resin parts, two part clear resin canopy and a clear observers in-cockpit screen, turned brass pitot tube by Master. A template is also enclosed to assist with positioning of the flaps.
The decal sheet printed by Cartograf of Italy gives the modeller a choice of six Gulf War nose art options:
- Hello Sailor
- Guinness Girl
- Miss Jolly Rodger
- The Flying Mermaid
- Sea Witch
- Jaws
All Muharrag detachment Buccaneers were painted with ARTF paint (Alkaline Removable Temporary Finish). The haste with which this colour scheme was applied to the Buccaneers can be clearly distinguished by the lack of National and data/maintenance markings as these were kept to a bare minimum. However, you will find a full set of decal data/maintenance sheet with in each boxing.
Idents 13, 43 to 51 silver (engine intakes, wing leading edges) C1 to C7 (cockpit decal) are required to be applied along with those indicated on Ident 144103. All other data/maintenance markings to be used at the modellers discretion.
A three part metal undercarriage can be purchased separately for the Buccaneer in our after-market store.
