This item is intended to be used with kit number 144022 as a conversion to the 1st Prototype P.1a WG760, which flew many hours with this development wing. The modified wing had a extended tip cord giving a kinked leading edge reducing subsonic drag.
This was assigned the later mark of the Lightning F6/2A.
